Development/Fundraising
Development interns will primarily support the Development Team on all fundraising initiatives and events, with assignments ranging from the conventional (e.g. responding to inquiries, processing checks) to the ad hoc (e.g., Head of State mailings, celebrity auction solicitations). Duties involve creating recordkeeping systems and files for existing major donors, assembling profiles, and compiling research on existing and potential funders of WJC Foundation programs and initiatives. Interns will also participate in the evaluation of major donor engagement activities to date and the shaping of weekend gatherings for trustees and major donors. Additionally, some time is spent researching existing activities in WJC Foundation initiatives’ fields of operation.
