How You Can Help

Correspondence

Correspondence interns coordinate letters related to President Clinton’s programs, activities, and professional relationships. Correspondence is initiated at the former President’s request, by Foundation staff, or in response to the hundreds of letters that President Clinton receives each week. In this work, interns ensure that the Correspondence workflow runs smoothly, and, when writing, that Foundation programs and policies are described substantively and accurately. Because they often draft documents that President Clinton reviews himself, interns must possess very strong writing skills. They also handle confidential material, making discretion essential. In addition to excellent writing and research skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an industrious nature are critical to this position.
